Dorothy was born in the family home in
Sterling Illinois. After finishing college becoming a registered nurse she married Gordon Penhallow. They both owned
a television sales and service business for many years in Amboy Illinois. They had two children, Bert George Christopher and
June N.
After selling their business, Gordon worked as a construction electrician
until he retired.
