Jean Lou
Woodyatt ( my sister ) was born at home in Sterling, Illinois. Our sister Dorothy was drafted as mid-wife.
It's not sure whether this was a good idea or not
. Some say that the first thing out of Jean's
mouth was laugher. Perhaps she thought her birth was some kind of joke. Who knows?
When she was a little older and Pop's favorate, she
loved to play devilish little pranks on her sister Dorothy. When she did something bad, she would point to Dorothy and
Dorothy would get the licking.
Once, as a small girl she fell down the cellar
stairs and bit her tonge completly off.
Pop came to the rescue and sewed it back on using fish
gut or some such thing. Perhaps he later regreted doing so! Who knows?
Later, she aquired the nickname "Chloe" from the hit
of the same name by "Spike Jones".
She had four children, Vicky,
Polly, Sammy and Kerry by her first husband Royal ( Bing ) Klitz who was killed in an automobile accident.
By her second husband Larry Bearsley she also
had four children, Bryan, Brett, Valissa, and Michelle.
One son, Bryan Bearsley was killed in an automobile
accident before her death.
